Mousepad
Thursday, February 14th, 2008Back in, oh, December, my friend Will was visiting from Canada. Before he came he had offered to buy me Unreal Tournament 3 (he really likes to spend his parent’s money on his friends), I however feel guilty accepting these presents so I said no. Then, a few days before he left he called to tell me that he had something for me, but I couldn’t go get it because I was busy that week. So, he gave it to his friend, that goes to my school, to give to me and told me that it was a mousepad. My thought was, “huh, why a mousepad,” the only thing I could think of was that it might be Half-Life themed. I talked to the guy he had given it to, who apparently knew nothing about it. A few days later he came to me and said that he did in fact have it, but not with him. He then forgot to bring it for a while. That is, until today. Guess what…I was right. It’s a fucking huge-ass Half-Life 2 themed mousepad or “Fragmat” as it is titled. This thing is bigger than my screen, which I suppose is good for gaming because it means you have more surface for looking around. In short, it’s fucking sweet, thanks Will.
Half-Life 2: Episode Two
Saturday, January 19th, 2008Today I went to my dad’s office to play/complete Half-Life 2: Episode 2. It was awesome and it was shiny! That’s all I really feel like saying. Great review eh?
Makes Me Sad
Saturday, October 13th, 2007I’ve been waiting for Half-Life 2 Episode Two (as well as Portal and TF2) for months. Unfortunately, now that the Games have finally been released, I DON’T HAVE A FUCKING COMPUTER TO PLAY THEM ON!
Ok…angry. Maybe I’m bipolar.
Argh!
Wednesday, January 24th, 2007Last Wednesday I had my dad order the Half-Life 1 Anthology for me. It took till Tuesday to get here. Once I got it I immediately installed it on my computer, only to find out that the Steam servers were down for maintenance, so I couldn’t play. Then during lunch I connected to the internet and the servers were back up. The game was added to my account and was updated. I got to try it out a little off-line, but not too much. So then after AP CompSci we got out early and I tried to play a little Team Fortress Classic. It kinda work but my battery was low and the game closed. I assumed it was because my laptop was attempting to hibernate. So I pluged it in and started it up again. It worked for a little while before completely crashing and I mean crashing. I had to force shutdown my laptop. So then I tried again when I get home. I tried joining an internet game, it worked for a while before just shutting down. I continued to attempt to play until 7:35ish, without success. It kept giving me the same error. God dammit!
Jar Player 1.0 Release
Tuesday, July 25th, 2006I just posted the first version of my home made flash video player (meaning it plays videos from within flash player). I made everything, with a little help from Flash Help to get the video streaming working. It currently only plays one movie, the intro to one of the best video games ever: Half-Life 2. I will add more videos and more fuctionality as I go. Please tak a look.
