Just got Discovery, Homework, and Human After All from Vicky.
I never got to see it in theaters; disappeared too quickly. I must say, that was fucking awesome. At first the plot seems rather simple: guy with baby gets shot at, but then it builds up, all the while filled in with extremely well choreographed fight scenes…and carrots.
Happy Birthday Mariko!! Didn’t I write that plugin so I didn’t have to do this? Oh well. Also, I’ll be 17 as well in 17.65 days.
Back in, oh, December, my friend Will was visiting from Canada. Before he came he had offered to buy me Unreal Tournament 3 (he really likes to spend his parent’s money on his friends), I however feel guilty accepting these presents so I said no. Then, a few days before he left he called to tell me that he had something for me, but I couldn’t go get it because I was busy that week. So, he gave it to his friend, that goes to my school, to give to me and told me that it was a mousepad. My thought was, “huh, why a mousepad,” the only thing I could think of was that it might be Half-Life themed. I talked to the guy he had given it to, who apparently knew nothing about it. A few days later he came to me and said that he did in fact have it, but not with him. He then forgot to bring it for a while. That is, until today. Guess what…I was right. It’s a fucking huge-ass Half-Life 2 themed mousepad or “Fragmat” as it is titled. This thing is bigger than my screen, which I suppose is good for gaming because it means you have more surface for looking around. In short, it’s fucking sweet, thanks Will.
So, apparently our movie was a real hit and I’ve got a number (okay 2, including the one in comments of the previous post, but also one by my bio teacher) of (damn I’m not sure what word I’m looking for, suggestions?) to put it on YouTube, maybe. If I do, it will have to wait until this weekend because it would require me to get the size down from 1.2 something gigabytes to, I believe, 100 megs, plus I might alter a few things that I don’t like.
We had to make a video for bio. I’m the only one in my group that knows how to use video editing software. I probably spent between 9 and 11 hours editing it…maybe more. However, it’s done!!!
My Companion Cube will never leave me…right? Yesterday I found this [can't find it] picture which inspired me. Anyway, I was up late into the night making my on Companion Cube model (cg not physical). Unfortunately, today when I was almost finished with it, I realized that a while back I had made a huge mistake. Thankfully, I save incrementally so if I fuck up (like I did) I can go back to and fix it. It actually turned out to be a good thing because the model worked better the second time. Here’s the final product:
Today I went to my dad’s office to play/complete Half-Life 2: Episode 2. It was awesome and it was shiny! That’s all I really feel like saying. Great review eh?
Yeah, so that sucked…
I have a feeling the people in my Bio class that don’t hate me yet, will hate me very soon. UPDATE: Nope, someone else got a higher grade…I wonder who that could be…
However, FINALS ARE OVER!!!
