I don’t know if it was the same one but some fuck put more spam in my guestbook. Of course no one but me really cares. I doubt that anyone OTHER than the fucking spammers have visited the site recently.
Some fuck came to my site and instead of posting a comment posted ads for drugs.

I just checked my guest book and the fucker put a shit load of ads. God damn it! My site is not a huge ad. Post your stupid fucking ads elsewhere!! Now I have to go into MySQL and delete them. Gah!
I just added a new clock to the site. It’s not exactly accurate but it’s close enough. Plus I think it looks cool.
Only one person has posted a comment and that was only after bugged them about it. It looks like people are visiting this site. So if you read this post a comment. Even if it’s just so that I know someone’s there.
Today Reggie gave me a web cam. I hope to one day put it on the site, but first I have to figure out what it’s IP address is; it’s not obvious. On the other hand I posted the first thing in my videos section, which will one day have an actual video player. Someday…
At the beginning of summer my friend, Reggie owner of the toystore/software store/video game store, asked if I would be willing to make his web site dynamic (meaning it loads information from text files or a database, like this site). I said yes, he got me a book onj PHP and I set to work. After finishing the book, the first thing I did was make my own site, it being the weekend. The following Monday I started working on his site, mostly remaking pages he already had. Today he finally gave me the go-ahead to upload my version of his site to the root folder. It’s nothing fancy, but the current JRTechie.com is the site I made. I think I’ll add a page that has a portfolio of my work.
I just googled Jar42.com and it shows up…of course you have to enter “jar42.com” to see it. If you enter something else it’s masked by all the other sites…So it’s sort of pointless. Oh, well.
As I already said, welcome. This is my first official site. I’ve done web design before, but nothing at this level. After I decided which webhost I would use I had to decide on my domain name. It took me forever, but I finally thought of “Jar42.com” and to my joy I found it was untaken (it’s surprising what’s taken). The name combines multiple aspects of myself. First it has “Jar” which is linked to “The Pickler”, whom I may at some point give a description of. Second, it has “42″, which those of you who have read “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” will know it as “The Ultimate Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything”. 42 covers both my favorite author, Douglas Adams, and my favorite genre, Science Fiction. All in all a well rounded name.
